Field Specialist ( Drilling, Completion, Pressure Pumping)
Responsibility
- Under direct supervision learns to run the product line’s tool(s)and/or services as assigned.
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance on various types of field
equipment and to determine the equipment's current operational status at
the well- site.
- Performs all required responsibilities safely and as described in work instructions, job-site analyses and training manuals.
- Executes other related duties as assigned.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE
policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Requirement
- Two to three years diploma in Engineering or an Applied Science
- Less than 3 years’ work experience in any technical discipline (e.g.
Mechanical/ Electro Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Electronics &
Communication/ Instrument & Control / Aviation / Environmental.
- Good level of English .
- Past internship experience or/and evidence of extra-curricular activities preferred.
- Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- General knowledge of oil and gas industry.
- Outgoing personality
- Preference in working outdoors.
- Adventurous and willing to working in harsh, demanding conditions (e.g. jungles, off-shore rigs)
Field Engineers (Drilling, Completion, Wireline)
Responsibility
- Under direct supervision receives and follows specific detailed
instructions on all work performed in the field where work is closely
managed by more experienced Field Engineers.
- Learns to run the productline’s tool(s) and/or services as assigned.
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance on various types of field
equipment and to determine the equipment's current operational status at
the well site.
- Performs all required responsibilities safely and as described in work instructions, job-site analyses and training manuals.
- Executes other related duties as assigned.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE
policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
- May be assigned for an overseas development stint.
Requirement
- 4 years Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering or an Applied Science.
- 2012, 2013 or 2014 graduates
- Past internship experience or/and evidence of extra-curricular activities preferred.
- Good level of English
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- General knowledge of oil and gas industry, as well as basic engineering principles.
- Outgoing personality.
- Preference in working outdoors.
- Adventurous and willing to working in harsh, demanding conditions (e.g. jungles, off-shore rigs)
